Shimano Curado DC 151/150 Multi reel

Shimano Curado DC 150/151 is the most affordable of Shimano's reels equipped with a DC drag unit. In addition to the very impressive technology with X-Ship, Hagane Body, Cross Carbon Drag, Micro Module, S3D spool, 6+1 S AR-B high-quality ball bearings, the reel is made of CI4+ and aluminum with an ergonomic design.

The drag is monitored by the Digital I-DC4 system. The drag system contains a chip that calculates exactly the right drag force during the cast. You as an angler only need to choose the right setting (4 different positions) and the reel takes care of the rest. This results in longer casts, fewer “catch nests” and fewer problems when casting in difficult fishing conditions, such as difficult headwinds.

Shimano Curado DC is a spinning reel that is well suited for perch fishing with crankbaits, other hard baits and jigs. Thanks to X-Ship, Curado is also well suited for lighter pike fishing with baits up to about 80 g. Max drag capacity 5 kg.
